The Open Mic Night was on! Gathered on the Social club, the pre-planned starting time of 7:30 pm was unanimously not applied. Being fashionably late, the open mic night started with Nathan jamming the stage with his rendering of Hit Me Baby One More Time, a song to be classified now as a classic. Other acts include *insert names here*. With fundraising in mind, buckets were passed back and forth the table, hoping to get funds from attendees of the Open Mic Night, who were gracious enough with their money and support. It was a successful night and a fun session for the team to simply relax and enjoy.
Design And Construction
In the workshop, Pat and Fergus continued their work on the construction making by creating a mock-up of footing joint to test out the lamination of the structure. This particular process was to test out the best method of construction, one way or another.
Klara proceeded to buy wood.
Fundraising
With their feminine appeals, Katy, Sunita, Kawther and Tolani managed a cake sale throughout the bays of the studio, which was selling like hot cakes, with Kawther's homemade brownies and Sam' cupcakes.
Jess handed out letters, explaining the project to various sources, simply fishing for funds and support.
Documentation
Cards branded with the Crux were handed out by Aoife to people, inside the campus and out.
Other documentation of photographs and blogs were continued.
